We are located at 250 Massachusetts Ave NW, Washington DC 20001. Our entrance is around the corner on 3rd Street between Massachusetts and G Street.

We accept reservations for up to eight guests online via Resy and over the phone at (202) 506-3150.

For parties of more than eight guests, we offer our multi-course, family style Let Us Cook For You! menu. Click here to book a large party reservation or a private event.

We offer an a la carte dinner menu highlighting seafood both raw and cooked in our wood burning hearth. In addition to our a la carte menu, we have a daily card highlighting very limited or seasonal offerings.

All menus are offered in the dining room as well as at the bar.

Bar Spero welcomes walk-in guests! In addition to our bar, we also reserve a limited number of tables in our dining room for walk-in guests.

Reservations for parties up to 8 guests are available on Resy up to 45 days in advance. If you do not see your desired date and time, we recommend using the notify feature on Resy as our reservationists check it regularly.

Please use the change feature on the Resy app for all adjustments. Please note, we generally only seat complete parties, so plan your reservation date and time accordingly.

Our cancellation policy is $25 per guest for reservations cancelled less than 24 hours in advance or if you fail to show up for your reservation. We require a credit card to secure all reservations.

There is street parking available outside the restaurant and in the surrounding neighborhood.

Additionally, there is a parking garage underneath the restaurant. The entrance is located on the corner of 3rd Street NW and G Street. Please note, the garage closes at 11:30pm and is closed all day on Sunday. We do not validate nor offer valet parking.

We invite you to dine with us in whatever makes you most comfortable.

We are happy to accommodate most dietary restrictions including pescatarian and gluten free. When possible, please indicate allergies and restrictions in your reservation notes.

Please note, we are able to accommodate the following dietary restrictions in a very limited capacity: dairy, allium, meat, and seafood.

We accept cash payments as well as all major credit cards. There is a 22% service charge included on every bill. A portion of this service charge goes directly to the front of house staff and a portion is used to pay increased hourly wages for front of house staff.

Yes, e-gift cards can be purchased here. You can also purchase physical gift cards in the restaurant during hours of operation.

Guests are welcome to bring bottles of wine that are not offered on the Bar Spero wine list. Every 750mL bottle will incur a $25 corkage fee.

If you would like to bring in an outside dessert, there is a $6 per person charge.

Bar Spero is the perfect setting for lively cocktail receptions, intimate private dinners, and celebrations of any kind. We have our curtained off private dining room as well as our bar area available for private events. Additionally, we offer the opportunity to reserve the full restaurant for the evening. Children are welcome in our dining room provided they order off the a la carte menu, or participate in Let Us Cook For You. We have a limited amount of high chairs available. Please let us know upon booking your reservation should you need one.
